| After qualifying as a personal trainer in South Africa, I worked in Durban for a couple of years training various sports professionals and people with a wide range of goals from weight loss, bulk and sports specific. On returning to England, I worked at Fitness First in my hometown Birmingham until moving to Bournemouth Fitness First in Queens Park. Along the way I became qualified in aqua, stability ball, sports massage, postural correction, pregnancy training and cardiac rehabilitation.
After completing the BACPR (British Association in Cardiac Prevention and Rehabilitation) training, I started working at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital with the cardiac team delivering Phase III cardiac classes as well as Phase IV at Bournemouth Heart Club. Currently, I deliver Phase IV classes out in the community as Heart1st Fitness - fitness classes aimed at people with previous heart issues.
